Kid Cudi Clarifies New Album is "Alternative" Not Hip-Hop
With change comes resistance.

Last week saw the release of Kid Cudi‘s long-awaited sixth studio album and of course there’s been some mixed reviews. Fans and “music critics” have voiced their opinions all over social media and websites and over the weekend, the Cleveland native himself took to Twitter to voice his own opinions and responded with a few tweets of his own to make clear that his album, Speedin’ Bullet To Heaven, is in fact an alternative album:
SBTH is ALTERNATIVE, not HIP HOP/RAP like someone FORCEFULLY labeled it. You can make the change in your settings manually. Fixin this too

Cudi then continued to clarify with this additional tweet:
Even though I made sure to let the world know early on the direction I was headed in, It can still be misleading seeing it labeled wrong.
