Castrol Brings Virtual Reality to the Racetrack

Castrol’s latest promotional ad is mixing the race world with virtual reality. Placing two racing drivers on different racetracks, Ben Collins and Matt Powers both compete via virtual reality in the same race in a far more dangerous environment according to their VR headsets. While each real world track is identical, the drivers will never physically pass one another when the race begins. Additionally, the drivers’ speeds reach up to real racing times despite each of their visions’ being exposed only to the world of virtual reality.
