The 'Back to the Future II' Self-Drying Jacket Is Now a Reality
Don’t forget to wear your pants pockets inside out.
Marty McFly’s Back to the Future II outfit is finally complete. Falyon has announced the final piece of the puzzle in the form of the SDJ-1 Self-Drying Jacket, that fully complements a ridiculous iridescent hat, jeans with pockets flipped inside out and, of course, the Nike MAGs with power laces. The outerwear, epically created in a black and red colorway to match Marty’s own, incorporates air amplifiers at the bottom of the jacket with exhaust/cooling vents at the neck that circulate the air within and ultimately dries the jacket in minutes. Not only can the jacket be used to dry, but the tech also finds use during hot, stuffy environments where a cool breeze could be taken advantage of, like a crowded subway or a shopping mall where you don’t really want to take off and carry around your jacket. Unfortunately, the SDJ-1 doesn’t appear to incorporate adjustable fit sleeves or an electronic voice, but perhaps in the future?
