As the year approaches its end, the quantity of new music updates has been decreasing lately and the artists are busy preparing for a big hit in the 2K11. However, there are still some releases that caught the attention of our readers – most notably Kanye West’s star-studded holiday-song “Christmas In Harlem”. Ye has shown a great deal of generosity this year and rounds up the G.O.O.D. Friday-series with the Dip Set-inpired cut. The union between Asher Roth and Nottz seems to find a lots of followers as their latest track “Gotta Get Up” earned respectable feedback within our readership. This is just another indicator that their upcoming offering The Rawth EP will gain critical praise. The good folks over at Ed Banger merged their respective talents to create a powerfully soothing remix of MGMT’s “Siberian Breaks”. Diggy Simmons sure keeps the people talking as he unleashed new rhymes over the classic “Nas Is Like”-instrumental. It appears to be more than likely that this young mic aficionade will cause even more noise in the industry next year. Speaking of renditions, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koening delivered an interesting rendition of Cheryl Cole’s 2009 pop-hit “Fight For This Love”.
