Last night, Travis Scott, Earl Sweatshirt, Chance the Rapper, Ty Dolla $ign, SZA and several other talented, high-profile artists hit the stage of Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre for the “Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life” event. Adding to the memorial event’s series of performances, John Mayer stepped in to deliver his own live rendition of Mac Miller’s “Small Worlds.”
Mayer also used his time onstage at the “Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life” showcase to share a short story about Mac Miller’s own performance of “Small Worlds” at The Hotel Cafe.
“He got on stage and he said he was really nervous. And now Mac, I’m really nervous, so, we got that in common too,” Mayer shared, later dedicating his cover to Mac Miller and his fans.
