DIY artist Ava Nirui has teamed up with Marc Jacobs for a second collection, this time featuring graphic designs by Stray Rats‘ Julian Consuegra, Better Gift Shop‘s Avi Gold, and IDEA. The collaborative offering is a series of embroidered hoodies displaying illustrations or tongue-in-cheek graphics referencing marketing tropes.
Ava Nirui’s design is a bootleg of the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” branding, Avi Gold’s graphic is a reference to the St-Viateur bagel store in Montreal, the IDEA design nods to the scratchcard lottery, and Julian Consuegra illustrated his friends in his signature sketchy style.
All of the hoodies from the Ava Niuri x Marc Jacobs capsule collection will release on November 1 at the Marc Jacobs web store. Let us know which design is your favorite in the comments below.
