Shigeto has resurfaced with his first new project since 2013’s No Better Time Than Now. Entitled Intermission, the effort is billed as an EP and being released through Shigeto’s longtime collaborators Ghostly International. The EP is officially described as a “collection of songs that point to the past, present, and future,” with Shigeto comparing its creative process to “coming up for air.” Shigeto says that this isn’t some “grand” introduction to a new sound, just a “taste” of where he’s currently at musically. You can stream Intermission in its entirety above. The project will be available for purchase on October 30.
