Shakira – Islands (The xx Cover)

Here’s the latest from Shakira, this time reworking and creating a stellar twist to The xx’s hit single, “Islands” To many it may come as a surprise, but The xx have brought forth some of music’s greatest tunes while making several “best of the year” lists and even placing ninth on the Rolling Stone list for album of the year. The single itself will make its way on Shakira’s upcoming bilingual album, Sale El Sole (English: The Sun Comes Out) due out next week on October 19th.
