Sango - Agorinha
From the final installment in his ‘Da Rocinha’ series.
Outside of some remixes and unreleased music, Sango has been relatively quiet when it comes to releasing all-new, original efforts of his own. But, this week he’s back with a composition entited “Agorinha.” “Agorinha” is being released as the lead single in support of the third and final edition of his Da Rocinha series, which will be out on November 10. In a statement about today’s release to Fader, Sango had the following to say about his new music:
“Da Rocinha 3 is about keeping the the funk roots true and paying homage to the ones that helped start it…I want to respect and show Rocinha in a positive light with this record while staying true to my sound.”
