Taron Egerton Takes Flight as Elton John in New 'Rocketman' Trailer
Soaring into cinemas next year.
Paramount has just dropped a new teaser trailer for the Dexter Fletcher-directed Elton John biopic, Rocketman, starring Taron Egerton as the iconic rockstar during his developmental years. In the clip above, we hear the score teasing viewers of the opening sections of “Bennie and the Jets” and flashes of Edgerton as John before transitioning to him singing “Rocket Man.”
Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, Gemma Jones and Bruce Dallas Howard also star in the film. Rocketman joins the upcoming Bohemian Rhapsody biopic about flamboyant ’70s glam rockers and established gay icons, Queen.
