Mt. Desolation - Departure

Mt. Desolation are an alt-country band from England which is also the side project of Tim Rice-Oxley and Jesse Quin, members of the rock band Keane. Their sound combines Irish folk elements with good old country music. This can be experienced in the Tom Palliser-directed video of their current single “Departure”. Green Irish scenery serves as the visual background while the band-members can be seen through polaroid pictures. This is most definitely worth checking out – just like their self-titled debut album which hits shelves October 18th.
