Lu Pingyuan Transforms Mr. Potatohead into Picasso-Inspired Sculpture
Titled ‘LOOK! I’m Picasso!’
Hong Kong-based artist Lu Pingyuan has reimagined the beloved Mr. Potatohead character from the cult-animated film, Toy Story, into a polystone figure. The twist: Pingyuan crafted a Picasso-inspired version of the iconic American toy that stems from the character’s short scene in the first movie where he ends up with his toy parts all tangled up. Aptly entitled LOOK! I’m Picasso!, the sculpture stands at approximately 25 centimeters and will be available in November from YohoBuy.com in a limited edition of 35, as per Arrested Motion.
