Karen O – If You’re Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough

Venturing into a new genre, Yeah Yeah Yeahs-frontwoman Karen O has created her very own rendition of Roger Allan Wade Cover’s “If You’re Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough”. The cover is part of her involvement on the new Jackass 3D-movie. Accordingly, the New York-based singer delivers an adequate chorus which even suits the taste of non-country music lovers. If her participation with the has come to fruition due to her former romantic liaison with the series’s producer Spike Jonze remains pure speculation. The Jackass 3D-soundtrack- which boasts songs from the likes of Weezer, Twisted Sister and Squeak E. Clean – will be digitally available on October 12th and in stores on October 26th.
