Set in Milan’s historic Università Statale, MSGM‘s Fall/Winter 2018 showcase sent real Italian students down the runway, playing on free-spirited and youthful energy. In contrast to other collections this season, designer Massimo Giorgetti forewent oversized proportions for more balanced silhouettes. The collection also featured a series of mottos that played with Italian translations of English slang. The incongruous sayings were etched on fleece sweaters, puffer jackets and overcoats.
