Ermenegildo Zegna returns to the Milan runway with a contemporary Fall/Winter 2018. The latest installment by artistic director Alessandro Sartori offers classic textiles in Zegna brown and dark tones with some experiments in geometric shapes.
Long-heralded for impeccable craftsmanship, Zegna illustrates design integrity in wool suiting, particularly a blue and black checkered suit. Outerwear picks include a high-collared grey leather and wool coat and a tan varsity-inspired jacket of the same design aesthetic. Elsewhere in the collection, the Italian label recreates edgy silhouettes characterized by a black oversized bomber as well as a light blue patterned long coat with topstitched lapels.
