G Perico Spits Over Two Street Classics for "Ain't My Fault / Big Pimpin'" Video
Start 2017 with that classic G-Funk feel.
Promising LA talent G Perico continues his hot streak with a new two-part visual for a pair of modern reworks. Setting his sights on Silkk the Shocker’s 1998 record “It Ain’t My Fault” and Tha Dogg Pound’s seminal Above The Rim contribution “Big Pimpin’,” G Perico serves up one of the strongest entries in his cult-favorite “G-Style” series.
“I chose ‘It Ain’t My Fault’ and ‘Big Pimpin’ to do a G-Style over not only because I’m a fan of No Limit and Tha Dogg Pound, but also to pay homage to two legendary movements that had a lot of power and did so many legendary things,” Perico explains to Mass Appeal. “I felt it was necessary to get on these beats and give them that ‘SO WAY OUT’ twist to show that classic music.”
