Samsung Unveils Its Chromebook Plus & Pro
Not your average Chromebook.

Thanks to an accidental Best Buy listing, we had already gotten our first look at Samsung’s latest Chromebooks, but now the tech giant has officially unveiled the designs. Dubbed the Chromebook Plus and Chromebook Pro, the 14mm-thin all-metal laptops boast 2,400 x 1,600 resolution, Gorilla Glass displays and come with USB-C connectivity and — unlike Apple’s much maligned MacBook Pros — an SD card reader. Both versions also feature 4GB of RAM, 32GB of local storage and 8 hours of battery life along with Android app compatibility and Chrome OS. The biggest difference between the two is the processor and price point. While the Pro features an Intel Core m3 processor and is dropping in March, the Plus comes with a less powerful ARM processor and will hit shelves next month for just $449 USD.
