Designer Yang Li‘s diffusion line SAMIZDAT is out for its second season. This time, the fictional music-band-meets-fashion-label teams up with musician and visual artist Keiichi Ohta of the avant-garde ’80s Japanese band Guernica. Titled “JAPANOISE,” a reference to the genre of Japanese noise music, the capsule collection features haunting graphics and a predominantly black color scheme that taps into “the dark, unconscious recesses of the human mind.”
A range of basic garments such as T-shirts, hoodies and bombers is accompanied with merch goods including pins, stickers, hats and skate decks. The “JAPANOISE” collection ranges from $18 – $419 USD and is available now at retailers such as /017.
