Late last month, the very first trailer for the new Coen Brothers film — and the duo’s first since 2016’s Hail, Caesar! — Suburbicon was unveiled. Featuring appearances by the film’s stars Matt Damon, Julianne Moore and Oscar Isaac, the lead teaser for Paramount Pictures’ Suburbicon gave us a glimpse of the dark crime comedy’s sinister, suburbia-based world. Now, a second vignette for the George Clooney-directed flick has emerged.
Once again revolving around Matt Damon’s character Gardner Lodge and his co-star Julianne Moore’s character Margaret, today’s clip further delves into the story surrounding the mysterious circumstances of the death of Gardner Lodge’s wife. As this pair of trailers show, there’s much more than what meets the eye with the homicide of Lodge’s significant other.
You can view the new trailer for the Coen Brothers and George Clooney’s Suburbicon above, while the film itself will hit theaters on October 27. Suburbicon will serve as the fifth time the Coen Brothers and Clooney have worked together on a project.
