Stone Island Opens Its Largest Flagship Store Yet in Los Angeles
The Italian techwear brand lands on the West Coast with a splash.
A well-kept continental European secret for much of its life, Stone Island has arrived in the States in a big way with the opening of its largest retail space on Los Angeles’s La Brea Avenue. The new store spans 5,300 square feet, far outclassing the previous LA location. Both the mainline and Shadow Project collections will be stocked in an environment that encompasses pietra serena stone and steel, shelves of reflective Alucobond and industrial felt, and the Item/Unit 2 system created for Stone Island by Heidelberg industrial designer Marc Buhre.
