It’s been a few seasons now since roar last graced our pages, however, the Japanese label is back better than ever — offering a ruggedly sharp collection for the 2017 fall/winter season. The streetwear brand devises a steady stream of winterized classics — towing the line somewhere in between upscale casual and relaxed semi-formal. The lineup leans heavily on statement outerwear, with items such as parkas, anoraks, pea coats and gillets well represented. Creative layering also catches the eye, as a large sampling of ensembles feature multiple pieces — resulting in an eccentric display of seasonal wears. Off-beat accessory items elevate the lineup’s aesthetic even further, as patchwork, bow ties and tousled inner shirts hanging loosely from the body all make noteworthy appearances throughout.
