Discover How 'Winnie the Pooh' Came to Be in New 'Goodbye Christopher Robin' Trailer
The story of one writer’s recovery after the First World War.
Fox Searchlight has released the second trailer for its upcoming film, Goodbye Christopher Robin. Following the life of British author A. A. Milne, the film sets the viewer in 1920’s England as Milne is recovering from serving in the British army during the First World War. Opting to write a book for his son Christopher, Milne begins crafting a story around his son’s stuffed bear named Winnie. The trailer then goes on to explore Milne’s creative process and finding inspiration from his son’s imagination before eventually penning the iconic children’s novel, Winnie The Pooh.
