Watch SpaceX Animation Showing What a Perfect Launch for the Falcon Heavy Would Look Like
Only four months away from launching the most powerful rocket ship in the world.

In anticipation of the first SpaceX launch of the Falcon Heavy, the most powerful rocket ship in the world to date, SpaceX founder Elon Musk has shared on Instagram an animation clip of what he hopes will be the successful launch of the spacecraft. In the video, we see the spaceship lift off, followed by the two booster rocket separations and their return to Earth in controlled landings.
The purpose of the Falcon Heavy is to eventually carry humans to the moon and Mars, and so the test launch is expected to create widespread excitement to come. There are however many risks associated with this mission, and Musk has acknowledged them in his Instagram post: “[Falcon Heavy] is twice the thrust of the next largest rocket currently flying and ~2/3 thrust of the Saturn V moon rocket. Lot that can go wrong in the November launch…”
