Crystal Moselle’s documentary The Wolfpack previously picked up a Sundance Grand Jury prize in 2015 and is now set to make her narrative feature debut in her upcoming skateboarding feature film starring Jaden Smith and Orange Is the New Black‘s Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Taking inspiration from the experiences of real-life skaters, Rachelle Vinberg, Dede Lovelace, Nina Moran, Ajani Russell, Kabrina Adams and Jules Lorenzo, who also feature in the film alongside Smith and Rodriguez, the film follows the story of a suburban teenager whose life changes drastically upon discovering a group of female skateboarders.

The film will be produced by Bow and Arrow Entertainment and RT Features in association with Pulse Films.
