In addition to the upcoming August 12 release of the EQT Cushion ADV, adidas Originals is also creating a “Friends and Family” edition to celebrate the return of the classic ‘91 model.
This exclusive version is said to be limited to 191 pairs in the world and features a similar white woven mesh upper with ribbon branding on the side panels. The black dotted lace buckle sports the words “EQT” and “Infinity,” coupled with a modified greyed out EQT Cushion ‘91 OG TPU heel and the tough, avant-garde addition of an EVA outsole. The custom shoe box is a reminder of the campaign’s slogan, “Everything that is essential. Nothing that is not.” and “No bullsh**.”
Although this release is not open to the public, it may be worth checking out the adidas Originals EQT Cushion ADV set to release on August 12 at select retailers for a retail price of $160.
