Takashi Miike's 100th Film 'Blade of the Immortal' Receives Its Lead Trailer
The legendary filmmaker is back.
Magnolia Pictures and Magnet Releasing have released the official red band trailer for the forthcoming Japanese action film Blade of the Immortal.
The 100th film from the mind of legendary Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike, Blade of the Immortal takes viewers to feudal Japan, focusing on the life and struggles of Samurai Manji. After swearing allegiance to a young woman as her bodyguard, Manji takes up her vendetta against the swordsmen who murdered her family. Blade of the Immortal follow’s the pair’s journey as they embark on a “quest to make right against those who did them wrong,” leading to plenty of cinematic violence along the way.
