Alpha Industries and Stutterheim Combine Their Outerwear Expertise for a New Capsule Collection
American military meets Swedish minimalism.
Swedish outerwear brand Stutterheim has collaborated with Alpha Industries, the American military jackets experts, on a new limited edition capsule collection that mixes the two brand’s trademark styles. The unisex drop sees three military styles — the MA-1 Bomber, the M-65 Fishtail Parka and the N-3B Weather Parka — given a Stutterheim remake, with them all coming in the Swedish brand’s 530g rubberized cotton fabric. The jackets also feature other classic Alpha Industries touches, such as the iconic bright orange interior and the brand’s “remove before flight” tag on the sleeve.
The capsule is scheduled to drop soon at the Sutterheim web store, as well as the brand’s physical flagships in Stockholm and New York, on Alpha Industries web store, and other select retailers, with pieces priced between $395 USD and $595 USD.
As well as teaming up with Stutteheim, Alpha Industries has also worked with 3sixteen, with some collaborative pieces unveiled as part of the New York brand’s 2017 fall/winter lookbook.
