Mount Kimbie & King Krule Shot Their New "Blue Train Lines" Music Video in a Library
Inspired by Ishi, the last survivor of the Yahi Native American tribe.
After surprising fans last week with an unexpected reunion, UK production duo Mount Kimbie and jazz-punk purveyor King Krule have shared an intriguing new video for “Blue Train Lines,” the first single off Mount Kimbie’s forthcoming album, Love What Survives. In the video, director Raf Fellner & Tegen Williams explored some dusty libraries to examine historic documents that tell the story of Ishi, the last survivor of the Yahi Native American tribe who unfortunately died in 1916. While navigating through old library relics, the clip provided viewers a little contrast to how one must do some deep research in order to discover obscure, cultural stories like Ishi’s.
