Snapchat's Latest Snap Map Feature Will Leave You Freaked Out

Snapchat has been seeing a significant decline in popularity over the last couple of months, but the social media app company keeps pushing forward, having recently announced a second generation of Spectacles in the works.

And to stay on top of the game, Snapchat recently introduced a new feature for the app: Snap Map. Though not entirely handy, the new function will share your exact location with friends, leaving many to be freaked out. Designed to keep you in the loop on what your friends are up to, and vice versa, Snap Map uses your Bitmoji to show where you are on a live map. A “Ghost Mode” is also available, allowing you to keep your location private. Watch the video above for all the details.
