Watch Calen Chan Run the World's Largest Parkour Course in First Person
Heaven’s Gate in China couldn’t hold him down.
Nineteen-year-old freerunner Calen Chan recently took on the Skyladder Parkour course — the world’s largest parkour course — at Tianmen in the Hunan Province of China with a GoPro in his mouth. Tianmen directly translates to Heaven’s Gate and has an average incline of 45 degrees and is 999 steps long. With only his skills and a GoPro to capture the run, Chan not only has to navigate the steep incline and the physical challenge of the course but also clueless tourists who are sitting, taking photos and generally all-around uninformed of what’s going on.
Some of you may remember Calen from his viral Super Mario Run parkour video, you can watch his latest run above and let us know what you think below. You can also watch Red Bull athlete Jason Paul parkour through China’s Ice City for more action.
