Wrangler Celebrates Its 70th Birthday With Woodstock Artist Peter Max
50 years since the Summer of Love.
Wrangler has collaborated with Peter Max, the famous psychedelic artist, to celebrate its 70th birthday and the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love. The pair first worked together in the early ’70s, and this latest collection takes inspiration from that collaboration while all of the packaging is a direct replica of the original. The 70th anniversary collection, which includes new jean fits, is dropping in two installments, with the summer drop being characterised by garments made of different denims and a mixing of different colored cloths and panels. The second drop, coming in time for fall, continues the denim and color mixing, but with new fabrics and a winter color palette of navy, burgundy and off-white.
As well as collaborating with Peter Max, Wrangler have also recently worked with BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS on a collection.
