Penfield Launches Two New Sub-Labels Exclusive to Japan
Introducing the Heritage Line and White Line.
Outdoor brand Penfield has unveiled two new sub-labels this spring, called the Heritage Line and the White Line. Taking a similar approach to The North Face, these respective sub-labels are specific to the Japanese market and appropriate Penfield’s long legacy to update classic silhouettes for modern sensibilities, under the creative direction of LOWERCASE’s Yoshikage Kajiwara. Bags and pouches are the main focus of this first release, with each versatile design able to be modified to fit the user’s needs.
The two collections will be launched on May 14 at a series of pop-up installations staged inside JOURNAL STANDARD stores in Tokyo’s Omotesando district, Nagoya, Osaka’s Shinsaibashi district, and Kobe. A smaller selection will also be made available at JOURNAL STANDARD outlets nationwide. Take a look at the initial offering above, and don’t miss Penfield’s main line over at HBX.
