J. Cole Discusses the Powerful '4 Your Eyez Only' Scene That Moved Him the Most
The film’s final story left quite an impact.
Earlier this week, J. Cole‘s HBO documentary 4 Your Eyez Only finally hit YouTube. Now available for free streaming, 4 Your Eyez Only places the spotlight on several powerful, moving stories, along with snippets of unreleased records and footage of the SWAT raid that inspired “Neighbors.” Most notably, the film’s conclusion showcased a hard-working 52-year-old woman who had persevered through some of life’s worst possible strategies. Her story in particular had a huge impact on J. Cole, and the Dreamville artist opens about his encounter with her for an exchange with students at Baton Rouge’s Southern University.
