adidas Teams With Belgium's Avenue for EQT Support 93/16 Inspired by Antwerp Six
The EQT Support 93/16 gets an upscale makeover.

adidas Consortium continues its collaborative series with European-based retailers on the forthcoming Avenue-designed EQT Support 93/16 release. Avenue, the Belgium based footwear boutique founded by Lina Fredriksson, worked with Michael Hernandez of design studio Bruin Co. and Oregon’s High Street Gallery to produce an upscale leisure EQT Support pack. The team took style cues from the Antwerp Six — the group of esteemed Belgium fashion designers — and Scandinavian style. An aniline leather upper, complete with woven embroideries, is planted on top of the silhouette’s white BOOST midsole. Avenue also incorporated vegetable-dyed leather lining, co-branded insoles and adidas TORSION SYSTEM sole technology.
The EQT Support pack will be available in black and tan colorways for $200 USD at Avenue on May 27. A global release will hit Consortium retailers a week later on June 3.
