Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger want to bring the legendary story of Tha Dogg Pound to national television. As Deadline reports, the iconic duo are shopping around a new series based on Tha Dogg Pound’s formative days. The program is reportedly executive produced by Damien Zellous and Kenya Ware, the same pair responsible for the Dogg Pound documentary DPG Eulogy. Released back in 2005, Zellous and Ware’s DPG Eulogy featured a star-studded cast that included Nate Dogg, Warren G, Kurupt, Lil 1/2 Dead, Soopafly, RBX and other high-profile west coast OGs.

“Snoop and I are always being asked to assist others with their Death Row projects because we were there from the beginning, until the demise,” reads a Daz Dillinger quote from the Deadline report. “We saw Dre leave, Pac murdered, and we were forced to run the company when Suge Knight went back to prison. Our perspective is honest and unique. There are countless stories that the world has never heard about those early days.”

Most notably, Tha Dogg Pound saw success with albums such as 1995’s Dogg Food, which went double platinum. Kurupt and Daz Dillinger have been keeping their collaborative act alive for nearly a quarter of a century, having first appeared together as Tha Dogg Pound on the 1994 Murder Was the Case cut “What Would You Do?”
