Canadian Brewery Northern Maverick Brewing Co. Unveils “Fake News Ale”
Shots fired.

In a satirical, yet playful poke at the United States’ newest president Donald Trump, Canadian Brewery Northern Maverick Brewing Co. unveils a themed beer called “Fake News Ale.” Featuring an animation image of the man himself, the new beverage could be a counter jab back at Trump for his flurry of tweets taking aim at Canada’s infrastructure, sporting heroes and Prime Minister Trudeau, amongst others.
For those who can remember, Trump once upon a time tweeted, “Name a great Canadian…oh, wait, you can’t. I’d like to see Wayne Gretzky quarterback the New England Patriots. Good luck with that, ‘Great One’!”
