For its 2017 spring/summer footwear collection, Paris-based fashion house Maison Margiela released a silhouette that mimics the current sock sneaker trend. The luxury runner features a sectional sole similar to the one found on Nike’s Free Run and a knit upper with an elastic ribbed opening seen on adidas’s recent Primeknit models. The luxury runner has already seen a black, white, and neon yellow colorway and this time Margiela unveils a bold red and black version. Detailed with the avant-garde label’s signature stitching at the side and made in Italy, this silhouette is currently available for approximately $480 USD at such retailers as Très Bien.
