Netflix is all about original content and this time the streaming giants are taking us into a world more creepier and even more supernatural than Stranger Things. The sinister tale Dark tells the story of children vanishing, perhaps even being swallowed by the Earth itself. The trailer gives us a glimpse of cryptic scenes with dead animals as distraught parents search for their kids. It’s not long until the supernatural connection is made clear: it’s not who kidnapped them, it’s when as the trailer ends with a diagram showing the years, 1953, 1986, and 2019.

Dark was filmed in Germany and marks Netflix’s first German production. This is not the first foreign show from the network with Brazil’s 3% having aired in late November of 2016. Look for Dark to drop this winter.
