Easily one of the most prolific luxury brands to enter fashion’s diverse arena, Maison Margiela, formerly known as Maison Martin Margiela is a French atelier founded by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. Departing the brand in 2009, a faceless team of designers took over operational duties remaining as such until controversial British couturier John Galliano took the creative reins in 2014.
