We went backstage at Public School’s statement-making Fall/Winter 2017 show at New York Fashion week to capture some pre- and post-show activity. Designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow made final adjustments to outfits as models lined up moments before hitting the runway. We also got a close look at the PSNY x Jordan capsule hoodie emblazoned with the forthright message “We Need Leaders,” as well as some other pieces that riffed on modern American cliches, such as the “Make America New York” parody of Trump’s campaign hat and gold Fitbit bracelets.
