Moncler Grenoble Hosts a Winter Ball For Its 2017 Fall/Winter Collection

French lifestyle brand Moncler Grenoble transformed the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York into a stately winter ballroom for its 2017 fall/winter collection. Models waltzed across the runway in floor-length white capes under a collection of glittering chandeliers, while fitted ski suits were interspersed throughout the lineup. A range of down-filled parkas and technical jackets in plaid and bold colors could also be spotted alongside chunky sweaters and turtlenecks, referencing vintage graphics and prints from the ’60s to the ’80s. Additionally, delicate details like velvet and fur were adorned onto various pieces pairing more of the brand’s technical designs with more high-fashion elements.
