BMW Adds Two New Matte Color Options for the i8
Protonic Frozen Black and Protonic Frozen Yellow make their debut.
The BMW i8 already features a striking exterior with a long sleek design and scissor style doors. Last year, the German-based automakers dropped a Protonic Red color scheme for the car. This year, as a followup, BMW will release two new matte paint schemes available through its BMW Individual program. The Protonic Frozen Black Edition and Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition will be available later this year in limited runs and will feature custom interiors with a plevy of luxury features like leather seats and carbon fiber.
