Samsung Unveils the Galaxy A8 & A8 Plus

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus, the latest handhelds in the series. The A8 has a 5.6-inch AMOLED display while the A8 Plus has a 6-inch screen. Both possess a 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel dual front camera, as well as 16-megapixel rear cameras. Each has an infinity display and ratio of 18.5:9, as well 32GB or 64GB storage that’s expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card.

The A8 possesses 4GB of RAM, while the A8 Plus has both 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Features include dust and water resistance, Samsung Pay compatibility, and Gear VR support. The camera also features video digital image stabilization as well as a “hyperlapse” mechanic to create time-lapse videos.
