Nike's Foamposite One Is Getting An "Alternate Galaxy" Colorway
A riff on the classic “Galaxy” edition.
Nike‘s polarizing Foamposite One model has been making the rounds in a slew of iridescent colorways and this time, the basketball silhouette re-ups in a new colorway that nods to the classic All-Star 2012 “Galaxy” edition.
This new color scheme is dubbed the “Alternate Galaxy” and is a more toned-down version of the original’s cosmic look. It features a rainbow-hued galaxy print on the wavy side panel and solid black framework consisting of the vamp, laces and sole unit. The model doesn’t seem to feature a glow-in-the-dark outsole like its predecessor, but it’s reported that the same red hangtag will be included.
There’s no official confirmation yet, but it’s rumored that the Nike Air Foamposite One “Alternate Galaxy” will drop in February 2018, during the NBA All-Star 2018 festivities in Los Angeles, for a retail price of $230 USD.
