Jeff Bezos Offers an Inside Look at Mannequin Skywalker's Ride to Space
Bezos promises people the same experience sometime next year once its open to the public.
Billionaire Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos posted a video of Blue Origin’s Crew Capsule 2.0 on its first successful test flight with test dummy “Mannequin Skywalker” aboard. The capsule is similar to the one that paying riders may eventually take into space, which already has customers contracted to fly sometime next year.
It features large 2.4 feet wide and 3.6 feet tall windows that give riders an unobstructed view of their surroundings. Bezos promises customers will be able to get out of their seat during the zero gravity part of the flight. Bezos also showed off the first use of his company’s landing pad robot. Check out the footage above and below, then share your thoughts in the comments.
