Majid Jordan recently sat down with Red Bull Media House to discuss creative processes, artistic inspirations, humble beginnings and the concept behind their sophomore album The Space Between. Narrated by OVO’s Noah “40” Shebib, the Canadian R&B duo step inside Toronto’s Integral House, where they can be seen taking part in various creative facets, including a photoshoot, rehearsing and ending with a performance.
When asked to comment on the dynamic duo, “40” had this to say:
“They started in a dorm room as two kids and figured out how to make cool music and they can still do that today. And that’s really what I’m interested in — that magic they stumbled upon once upon a time.”
Majid, later added:
There is always gonna be a pressure you put on yourself when you love what you do and want to do the best that you can. I think we’ve done a really good job of consistently asking ourselves why we’re doing what we’re doing.”
