Thundercat Unites With His Brother For "Take The Time"
Ronald Bruner Jr. has a new album on the way.

Brainfeeder virtuoso Thundercat unites with his Grammy-winning brother and equally-talented drummer Ronald Bruner Jr. for a new single. Collaborating for Ronald Bruner Jr’s new single in support of his debut studio album Triumph, the pair deliver “Take The Time.” Today’s drop serves as our first taste of Triumph, which will see release on March 2 via World Galaxy and Alpha Pup Records. Along with Ronald Bruner Jr.’s very famous sibling, the project will also feature contributions from Kamasi Washington, Mac Miller, the late George Duke and others other — Jameel Bruner, the other famous Bruner brother from The Internet, also has a spot on Triumph. Also of significance: this album was crafted during the same sessions that yielded Kamasi Washington’s stellar LP The Epic.
