Pamela Anderson Stars as the New Face of Vivienne Westwood’s 2017 Spring/Summer Campaign
“I love the apocalyptic feel when we shoot. A warrior comes over me and it feels like life and death.”
Joining forces once again with eclectic design maverick Vivienne Westwood, Baywatch icon Pamela Anderson has been pegged to front the new Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood 2017 Spring/Summer campaign. Captured by legendary sharp shooter Juergen Teller, Anderson, Kronthaler and Westwood can be seen sporting designs that evoke a rustic Mediterranean feel.
When asked to comment on the project, Teller had this to say, “The island is Hydra, Greece, where I have a house.” He continued with, “We liked the adventure of it… Vivienne, Andreas and Pamela are all just great people to work with. All three of them bring so much to the shoot. I love working with them. There is a trust between us and we explore and work quite freely.”
In speaking on the campaign, Anderson had this to add, “This time we were shooting at Juergen’s home. I love the apocalyptic feel when we shoot. A warrior comes over me and it feels like life and death. How will we survive the climate and over population? We may all become cannibals – or eat rocks.”
