Desiigner's "Tiimmy Turner" Goes Platinum
The 19-year-old’s second platinum record.
It’s been a good start to the year for Desiigner thus far. In this month alone the 19-year-old rapper has fronted adidas Originals’ new XBYO line, made it to Forbes‘s prestigious “30 Under 30” list, while also finding time to wind down at an aquarium in between. Now the G.O.O.D. Music signee can add another platinum record to his list of accomplishments, as “Tiimmy Turner” just recently hit the requisite mark of 1 million sales. The numbers still pale in comparison to his first hit “Panda,” but the feat is very impressive nonetheless considering he only burst onto the scene a little over a year ago.
