Hip-hop has evolved over the years in sound and lyrical style but one thing has withstood the test of time: opulence. The look of luxury is exactly what Astrid Andersen achieves in her 2017 fall/winter line which hearkens back to the days of hip-hop and rap moguls in their chinchilla coats, velour suits and stunner shades. Featuring a spectrum of loose silhouettes on fabrics like velour, suede and a variety of furs, this collection is the opposite of mute and quiet. Utilizing a color palette heavy in maroon, golden brown hues, black and cream, some pieces are highlighted with animal patterns while others adorn the designer’s logo or art. Tying everything together are Kangol-esque hats and feather accessories.

The entire collection epitomizes what luxury was, is, and will always be. Check out the gallery above and click here for additional coverage of London Fashion Week.
